Tableware for every person
The ORNAMIN plate guard / food bumper fits plates with a diameter of 20 to 26 cm. It makes it easier to push food onto forks or spoons, which makes it a valuable asset especially for people with physical impairments or shaky hands.The food bumper is also a practical one-handed aid for senior citizens or people living with disablities such as after a stroke, Alzheimer's disease, dementia, multiple sclerosis, or Parkinson's disease. It can also make everyday life easier for those living independently at home.

Easier eating with one arm
The raised edge enables independent eating when arm and hand mobility is limited or only one hand can be used for eating. The specially designed eating aid can be easily attached to plates with a diameter of 20 to 26 cm. The food can then be pushed more easily to the edge of the plate and scooped up.

Alternative: ORNAMIN plate with sloped base
Avaiable only in anthracite the plate guard / food bumper can be attached to existing plates. The more inconspicuous, alternative to the plate guard is the plate with sloped base: its sloping inner base ensures that the food settles in one part of the base. An anti-slip ring on the base provides a firm hold. ORNAMIN's helpful tableware focuses on what we enjoy: the pleasure of eating together.
