MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS TABLEWARE
Sustainably independent - special features for MS patients
INDEPENDENT EATING AIDS
Sensory disturbances, numbness or tingling in the arms, legs and trunk restrict movements in daily life. Soup spooning becomes a challenge - especially when the visual disturbances typical of MS also occur, limiting contrast and sharp vision. With the hidden functions in the universal design, the tableware helps MS sufferers to maintain enjoyment and zest for life at the dining table: The coloured rim of the tableware provides a clear contrast to the white inner surface of the plate and the dining table for better orientation. The plates, bowls, cups and boards are characterised by their intuitive handling. The special features in the design provide additional relief for everyday challenges.

INDEPENDENT DRINKING AIDS
Shaky or weak hands, but also limited mobility in the neck rob people with impairments of their independence when drinking. Drinking is enormously important and should be done independently for as long as possible. Colourful and functional cups compensate for impairments caused by illness and promote independent drinking - without stigmatising. The aids incorporated in the design are not recognisable at first glance and can be used intuitively. This significantly increases the acceptance of those affected and raises their self-esteem.
To Drinking AidsEATING AND DRINKING INDEPENDENTLY WITH MS
Numbness in arms and legs, swallowing difficulties or visual disturbances are symptoms of multiple sclerosis. They make independent eating and drinking a great challenge in everyday life. The ORNAMIN multiple sclerosis tableware has supportive features invisibly hidden in the design that enable independent eating and drinking with physical impairments. The eating and drinking aids look like ordinary tableware and not like classic, stigmatising care aids.
