NO CHANCE FOR DISCRIMINATION - THE SPECIAL PLATE WITH SLOPED BASE REPLACES PLATE RIM ELEVATION AND NON-SLIP MAT
Eating independently with only one hand - not so easy, but important for maintaining motor skills and independence. That's why plate raisers and special plates with invisible sliding edges are indispensable in care. However, one disadvantage of these classic care products is that their special features make them stand out clearly as tableware for people with impairments.
In order to avoid the associated stigmatisation and thus enable those affected to maintain their independence, the helping tricks were cleverly hidden in the design of the plate with sloped base. The special plate replaces the raised plate rim and non-slip mat: the invisible inclined plane in the base of the plate, the overhang on the rim and the non-slip ring on the bottom of the plate make it a clever everyday helper without stigmatising.
