Customer returns are sorted by material type and regranulated in the same way as in the PIR process. The difference lies in how the material is reused. The recovered material is only processed into products that do not come into direct contact with food, such as shelf merchandising solutions used in supermarket displays.
MELAMINE PLASTIC
Melamine plastic products are also taken back and directed to established external recycling and recovery channels. For example, the material can be used as a filler in the construction industry or as a blasting medium in aircraft and ship maintenance.
