Anne-Christin Matthes
Managing Director
Anne Matthes was born in Burg in 1985. She studied maths and physics in Hanover. She began her career at ORNAMIN as Head of Supply Chain Management. She was then responsible for the successful development of ORNAMIN's B2C trade. In 2020, she became a member of the management team and is directly responsible for the company's controlling. Together with her husband, Johannes Anselm Hackbarth, she acquired the company in March 2026 and has been managing director since then.
Johannes Anselm Hackbarth
Managing Director
Johannes Anselm Hackbarth was born in Hanover in 1983. He began studying Technical Physics there and later continued his studies in Mechanical Engineering. He graduated with a Diplom degree in 2011 and subsequently worked for four years as a Strategic Buyer at Wilkhahn. After moving to the HARTING Technology Group, he initially worked for two years in Strategic Purchasing, followed by eight years as Head of Global Product Management. In March 2026, he acquired ORNAMIN together with his wife, Anne-Christin Matthes, and has since been a Managing Director.
Sina Appelt
Senior Vice President | Operations & Technologie
Sina Appelt was born in Minden in 1984. She is a trained industrial clerk, specialist in procurement and logistics, as well as a graduate in business administration. She worked as a lean & kaizen manager at Drabert GmbH and as a business consultant regarding lean & kaizen. Since 2015, she has accompanied ORNAMIN on its way to become a lean company and has the overall responsibility for the departments Operations and Technology.
Natalie Dobler
Senior Vice President | Sales
Natalie Dobler was born in Stuttgart in 1977. After studying business administration at the Stuttgart University of Cooperative Education, she worked for six years as a marketing officer at M+W Zander in Stuttgart. In 2006, she joined ORNAMIN to build up the Tableware Division, and has since been a key pillar as Sales Manager in the successful establishment of the ORNAMIN brand domestically and internationally.
Sören Müller
Senior Vice President | Finance & HR
Sören Müller was born in Minden in 1975. After completing his training as a bank clerk and pursuing an extra-occupational course in business administration, he spent ten years at the Dresdner Bank AG as a corporate client advisor. He is also a certified career counsellor. Since 2005, he has been an authorised signatory at ORNAMIN and, as a division manager, is responsible for the corporate management of finance, human resources and IT, and within the management especially for the topic area of finance.
Marc Philipp Bodfeld
Managing Director Instore-Marketing
Marc Philipp Bodfeld was born in Bielefeld. He was responsible for domestic sales at Wellmann Küchen for six years and completed his degree in business administration at the Ostwestfalen-Lippe Academy of Administration and Economics while working. From 2008, he worked at the subsidiary Instore-Marketing GmbH as regional sales manager and key account manager until he was finally appointed deputy managing director. Since the merger of Instore-Marketing GmbH with the parent company ORNAMIN, he has assumed responsibility for the entire Instore-Marketing division.
Alexander Gottre
Vice President Technologies
Alexander Gottre was born in Stadthagen in 1979. After training as a car mechanic, he completed further training as a mechanical engineering technician specialising in design and automation technology. He gained his first experience in the design of signware for oil companies and various car manufacturers before moving to Sauerland for several years in 2010 and developing gas flue systems for condensing boiler technology. He joined ORNAMIN as a project manager in 2017 and took over as Head of Maintenance in 2020. He has been Head of Technologies since 2025.
Thorsten Erdelt
Vice President Research & Development
Thorsten Erdelt was born in Minden in 1965. After completing his training as an inland waterway sailor, he obtained captain licenses for the Weser, Elbe, Rhine, and canals. In 1990, he turned his hobby of working with metal into his desired profession by undergoing retraining as a tool mechanic at ORNAMIN. As an industrial master in metal, he took over the management of the metalworker apprenticeships, later assuming the leadership positions in fixture construction, toolmaking, design, research & development, and eventually the position of Technology Manager. His areas of expertise include engineering, product and tool design, project management and 3D printing. Since 2022, he has increasingly focused on product development at ORNAMIN.
Maik Alexander Scholl
Vice President Production and Logistics
Maik Alexander Scholl was born in Bad Pyrmont in 1983. After graduating from high school, he completed a commercial apprenticeship and then worked as a supply chain manager at a large bookshop. He then switched to the travel catering industry, where he worked for several years as operations manager at a motorway service station and petrol station. He then moved to ORNAMIN in 2024, where he took over as Head of Logistics. In April 2025, he also took over the disciplinary management of production.
Wathek Alyouness
Vice President Quality Management
Wathek Alyouness was born in Syria in 1991. After beginning his studies in petroleum engineering, he started his career in quality management at ORNAMIN in 2018. Thanks to his many years of experience in quality assurance, standardisation and compliance, he took on increasing responsibility and was finally appointed Head of Quality Management in April 2025. He is currently studying mechanical engineering part-time to further deepen his technical expertise.
