Functional drinking aid.
This set includes two separately available components: the Mug with Internal Cone 140 ml (model 207) and the Drinking Lid (ø 70 mm) (model 814). 

Three functions in one.
The mug with internal cone combines two special functions: firstly, the double-sided wall keeps the drink either hot or cold. Secondly, the innovative geometry of the mug allows for emptying the mug without having to overstretch the neck. Moreover, the practical and innovative lid ensures safe and independent drinking without choking.
 
The internal cone.
With the help of the mug with internal cone relatives with limited movement in neck and arms or people who are confined to bed can satisfy their thirst. This is possible because of the conically shaped inside of the mug that gets narrower towards the bottom and looks like an ice-cream cone. This clever feature guarantees that the mug can be emptied independently without overstretching the neck. Also the nose is not an obstacle anymore.
Compared to a nose cup which is often used by people with physical limitations, the mug with internal cone is intuitively usable and does not have to be explained to the user. Consequently, the coffee mug is a practical everyday aid for seniors, in care, for people living with diseases like stroke, Alzheimer's, dementia, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's or dysphagia. 
 
Hidden drinking aids.
As the function is hidden inside the mug, there is no optical difference to our regular thermo mugs. The users, therefore, do not feel exposed, discriminated or as an outsider but are integrated naturally into any group as this drinking aid is not distinguishable as one.

No choking, no burning.
The discreet drinking lid with all around openings enables comfortable drinking from all sides and thus it can be used intuitively. It is designed in a way that it almost disappears inside the mug and is a hardly visible drinking aid. In addition, the lid reduces the risk of choking, as in contrast to a spouted cup the swallowing reflex is triggered with the lip – exactly like when drinking without a lid. Moreover, one can sense the temperature of the beverage with the lips which prevents burning the tongue or mouth which is likely to happen with a spouted cup. By the way: For straw-lovers there is a specific opening where you can put in your straw.

No spilling.
Especially for shaky hands and people with limited arm strength spilling can become a problem. The drinking lid prevents liquids from spilling and facilitates drinking.
